Direct Counselling UK are looking to expand our provision of associate counsellors to join our current team. We are looking for counsellors throughout the UK, whatever your specialism.
Requirements From You
Minimum requirements for registration include:

An appropriate counselling/psychotherapy qualification (preferable Humanistic) to at least Diploma level from a registered awarding body.

Experience of counselling individuals on a face-to-face basis and a minimum of 2 years post-Diploma experience.

Membership of the BACP or other equivalent body (paid by yourself) and be accredited (or working towards accreditation) with the BACP or registered with the UKCP.

Up-to-date professional liability insurance and adequate arrangements for an appropriate level of supervision (1 ½ hours per month minimum).

Conduct your practice within the BACP’s Code Of Ethics For Good Practice In Counselling And Psychotherapy (updated February 2010).

Additional training in working with particular issues, time limited counselling, telephone work or online counselling would be a bonus.
