Transactional Analysis
Transactional Analysis (TA) was developed in the 1950’s by Eric Berne (1910 – 1970) a Canadian psychiatrist.
TA is based on the concept that humans are social creatures; and recognising the social dynamics that occur between individuals can result in a deeper understanding of behaviour and personality traits.
TA is useful for individuals who wish to explore their relationships and interactions with significant others in their lives and can be used for exploring interactions between couples, families and groups, as well as individuals.
