Eating Disorders
An eating disorder is the result of an unhealthy relationship with food. Eating disorders include Bulimia Nervosa and Anorexia Nervosa and sufferers with Bulimia can sustain an unhealthy relationship with food for many years before help is found.
Mistakenly termed as a 'rich girl's disease' in the 1970s, anorexics and bulimics were usually females in their teens or twenties. However, over the past three decades, males in their teens and twenties have increasingly become sufferers of eating disorders as well as females.
